Coconut Shell Charcoal

Coconut shell charcoal is a natural product derived from the robust, mature shells of coconuts. Rather than being discarded as agricultural waste, these shells are upcycled through a process called carbonization.

How do we process it?

We use only fully matured, clean coconut shells to ensure a high-quality, high-carbon raw material.

The shells are heated in an oxygen-limited environment. This intense heat removes moisture and volatile compounds, leaving behind a pure, carbon-rich charcoal product with a dense structure.

The resulting charcoal pieces are graded and can be further processed into granular form or ground into powder for briquetting or activated carbon production, depending on your needs.

Our coconut shell charcoal stands out due to its inherent natural properties:

  • High Fixed Carbon Content: Our charcoal typically has a high fixed carbon percentage, making it an efficient and potent fuel source or raw material.

  • High Calorific Value: It burns hotter and longer than most traditional wood charcoal, ensuring efficient and consistent heat production for both industrial and domestic use.

  • Low Ash Content: This is a major selling point. Premium grades produce very little residual ash (often less than 2%), which is light-colored and easy to clean.

  • Clean & Odorless Burn: It is free from chemicals and produces very little smoke, remaining tasteless and odorless during combustion. This makes it ideal for applications where flavor contamination is a concern, such as shisha/hookah use and food grilling.

  • Eco-Friendly & Sustainable: We use a renewable resource that repurposes agricultural waste, helping to protect forests by offering an alternative to wood logging.
